		Process Control Systems Field of activity: configuration of metsoDNA information and process control systems within the framework of projects of Metso Automation, Inc.; providing metsoDNA automation system training courses; mathematical modeling of technological processes. Configuration of metsoDNA information systems Since 2001 the staff of ASC has participated in more than 30 projects at industrial enterprises of pulp-and-paper, oil-and-gas, chemical, energy and mineral processing branches of industry in the North-West of Russia, Stavropol region, Western Siberia, Yakutia and Ukraine -- OJS "Arkhangelsk PPM", OJS "Segezha PPM", OJS "Solombala PPM", OJS "Surgutneftegas", OJS "Nevinnomyssky Azot", "Alrosa", Poltava GOK, OJS "Kondopoga", Vodokanal of St.-Petersburg. Training Field of activity -- providing metsoDNA automation system training courses for customer personnel and Metso Automation partners as well as PetrSU personnel and students. Courses plans and materials have been approved by Metso Automation Projects Ltd. Upon completion of a course every participant receives an official qualification improvement certificate, for which PetrSU has the required license. Since 2005 г. more than 40 metsoDNA training courses have been given to more than 150 specialists from more than 20 enterprises and organizations. Modeling The department is developing mathematical models of technological processes and is utilizing them for development of real-time computer-based training simulators for process operators.
